STAINLESS STEEL FOIL ALLOY 201

Stainless Steel Alloy 201 is available in widths from .375 to 36 in most tempers. Considered a stronger alloy than T304 due to its 6.5% manganese composition. It exhibits the most of the same properties as the other stainless alloys but is not as ductile or formable. It does offer a lower Nickel content and as a result, is considered more cost-effective than other stainless steel alloys.

This type of steel is used in many commercial and industrial applications ranging from food service to architectural. Other examples include stamped and machined products including appliances, kitchen and food service equipment, sinks, cookware, railway cars, tractor trailers, and automotive trim.
