Medium Strength, Corrosion Resistant
A medium strength alloy with excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance, good weldability, and good cold formability. Elongation and tensile strength run considerably higher than the 1000 series, particularly at elevated temperatures. You’ll find 3003 in HVAC ductwork and heat exchangers, roofing and siding, storage tanks and jacketing for chemical and food work, automotive radiators, and freezer linings. We stock it in foil, coil, and sheet.
