Aluminum Alloy 1350
High Conductivity Electrical Grade
At minimum 99.5% aluminum, 1350 is an electrical conductivity (EC) grade, more conductive than other 1000 series alloys. It’s the preferred choice in transformer and switchgear work, where it delivers the most economical conductivity in the series. Higher purity alloys exist, but they’re difficult to source and considerably more expensive. If your application is genuinely conductivity critical, talk to us about tolerances before you specify. The margins are narrow.
