The Market Standard Foil Alloy
At minimum 99.35% aluminum, 1235 has become the most common foil alloy on the market. The high aluminum content suits it to industrial and food service work, and in the annealed state it’s highly malleable and easy to form. Chemically and physically near identical to 1145, and increasingly specified in its place simply because it’s easier to get. We stock 1235 in foil, coil, and sheet, converted to your width and length.
